Christmas Thank-You Note Generator

Christmas leaves a stack of notes to write in one sitting, which is when they start to sound alike. Fill in each person and gift here, change the detail line for every note, and shuffle the phrasing so no two cards match.

Kids can use it too: a parent types while the child answers "what did you get" and "what do you like about it," and the child copies the note out in their own handwriting.

Tips for your Christmas thank-you note

  • Write one note per evening for a few nights rather than twenty in one go, so each keeps its own detail.
  • Mailed gifts, money and anything from grandparents should get a written card, not only a text.
  • January is still on time. Open with the thanks and skip the apology.
