Common questions

How short should a thank-you note be?

Three or four sentences is plenty for most notes. For a gift tag or a text, a single line like the ones here is perfectly appropriate.

Do I need to add my own words to a short quote?

At minimum, add who it is to and from. A name turns a generic quote into a personal thank-you.
